As the Director of Corporate Development, Phil Black brings over 20 years’ experience in leadership training and personal development to Productive Learning clients. In his current role, Phil is responsible for establishing alliances and partnerships with small and medium-sized businesses who are dedicated to achieving outstanding levels of success.
Phil joined the team in 2016 to help drive business for Productive learning’s growing corporate consulting practice and Conscious Leadership Circle program.
Industry Experience and Training
Prior to joining Productive Learning, Phil spent over two decades in the personal development space, having trained over 4,000 individuals and Fortune 1000 management teams. Phil is driven by his life’s purpose – to help others create extraordinary lives, which has lead him to develop core relationships with many of the nation’s top firms including: Intel, Sprint, Tony Robbins Companies, Qualcomm, Dow Jones, AT&T, and Wells Fargo.
Through rigorous training in the field of Emotional Intelligence, NLP, Mind In Business, The Five Dysfunctions of Team and Crucial Conversations, Phil integrates all of these key concepts into experiential training helping both personal leaders and management teams achieve greater performance levels.
Phil’s innate ability to pair his compassionate and insightful nature with his results-oriented mindset has proven to make him a key member of the Productive learning team.
Prior to joining Productive Learning, Phil spent over 25 years in the personal development space, holding trainer, sales, and leadership positions with various companies such as Peak Potentials, The Ultimate Game of Life and Inner Radiance Advisors.
His areas of expertise include Entrepreneurship, Leadership, Coaching, Team Building, Strategic Planning, Training, Emotional Intelligence, New Business Development, Business Planning and Marketing.
Phil received his Bachelors of Science in Finance, Economics and Real Estate from San Diego State University and has completed nearly 20 years of personal development workshops focusing on Emotional Intelligence.
Phil lives in San Diego, California and is married with three amazing children. His life-long dream is to continue traveling the globe while world-schooling his kids along the way.
