As the Director of Corporate Development, Richard Waxman brings Productive Learning over 30 years of consulting, senior leadership and sales management experience for both mid-sized companies and multi-billion dollar enterprises.
Richard joined the team in 2014 to help drive business for Productive Learning’s growing corporate consulting practice. Richard utilizes a consultative approach for understanding key customer challenges and aligning them with the appropriate training and coaching solution, while customizing the program to achieve the identified targets.
Richard’s main focus is to develop and expand strategic partnerships with global enterprise accounts committed to improving interpersonal and team dynamics of their leadership, sales and operational resources.
Richard is responsible for securing several key partnerships for Productive Learning, including Citi Commercial Bank, NorthBay Healthcare and Visicon Technology. It was through these important relationships that Productive Learning has been able to expand its leadership and business consulting practice.
Richard’s passion for personal and professional growth, integrated with his in-depth understanding of complex, global enterprises, make him the perfect partner to help clients solve their multifaceted challenges through the development of customized training and coaching solutions.
Prior to joining Productive Learning, Richard spent over 30 years leading successful sales and marketing initiatives in the non-profit and for-profit spaces, including manufacturing, technology, education and community health. He has held leadership positions with innovative organizations such as: Amazon, Jacent Technologies, Mosaica Education, and Sara Lee Industries.
Over the course of his career, his proven ability to communicate effectively and implement complex marketing and partnership strategies lead him to develop consultative relationships with key clients such as Visa USA, Charles Schwab & Co., Macy’s, Nordstrom, Nike, Pizza Hut Inc., and Quiznos.
Richard received his Bachelors of Science in Social Psychology from Tulane University and has completed nearly 34 years of personal development workshops.
Richard lives in the Bay Area and is happily married with two grown children. Richard enjoys tennis, yoga and outdoor fitness training as well as wine, travel and cooking.
